The invention relates to a filament of a moulded polymer product and to a method for producing a web of filaments that includes coating filaments with a latex polymer and forming the filaments into a moulded product, in which a polymer is formed and moulded into a larger web of filaments. The moulded products can be objects intended for clothing, household use, gardening, furniture, health care, engineering, industrial use and consumer goods. The moulded mesh of filaments is "fractal" since it is an interconnected web of filaments at the molecular scale and at the scale of the moulded product. The natural tendency of the filaments of long molecules to form a knotted structure is retained. |
