<p>The invention relates to a tyre (1) comprising a bracing ply (4) consisting of at least two working crown layers (41, 43) of reinforcing elements; the axial ends of the reinforcing element working layer (41) radially closest to the casing ply being turned up to cover the axial ends of at least one other crown layer, the reinforcing elements (21) of the casing ply (2) having a diameter of less than 1 mm and consisting of threads (22, 23, 25) having a diameter strictly higher than 0.16 mm, said reinforcing elements (21) of the casing ply (2) being metal cables which are advantageously non-reinforced and exhibit a flow rate of less than 20 cm3/mn in the so-called permeability test.</p> |
