<p>The present invention relates to an input device of a computer for a handicapped person and, more particularly, to an input device of a computer that enables a handicapped person or the like having hand impairment or incapable of using hands to input a text or the like conveniently using feet. For the purpose, the present invention provides an input device of a computer for a handicapped person comprising: a first interface including one or more sticks having freedom in directions for moving a pointer, buttons for inputting key data, a direction adjustment part for outputting a moving direction signal corresponding to the operating direction of the sticks, a key selection part for outputting a selection button signal in response to the key data input signal of the buttons, a control part for outputting a control signal in response to the moving direction signal of the direction adjustment part and the selection button signal of the key selection part, and an emulator for transmitting the control signal of the control part as the key position coordinate values of a keyboard having keys arranged according to certain rules and scan code conversion request information to enable the keyboard to work together in response to the moving direction signal and the selection button signal; and a second interface including a keyboard module for displaying the keyboard and receiving the key position coordinate values and the scan code conversion request information from the emulator to output key data corresponding to the keyboard, and a code module for receiving the key data of the keyboard module and converting the key data into a scan code.</p> |
