PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect that a regulator is in a master pressure operation state and prevent deterioration of brake feeling in a hydraulic brake system equipped with a regulator.SOLUTION: At an early stage of operation (Ta) of a brake pedal, when a state in which servo pressure Ps which is output hydraulic pressure of a regulator is larger than a determination threshold Psth lasts for determination time Ts (t1), it is determined that the regulator is in a master pressure operation state, and changeover control is performed. An amount of current supply to a booster linear valve is increased, and hydraulic fluid is supplied to a control pressure chamber at a large flow rate. A pilot piston is thereby retreated, and the regulator is switched to a control pressure operation state (t2). A period Th in which actual servo pressure does not increase can be shortened, and deterioration of brake feeling can be suppressed by changeover control. |
