<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse arc welding method and a pulse arc welding apparatus capable of obtaining a droplet transfer form or a penetration part form as desired and setting pulse welding conditions without taking lots of time.SOLUTION: A pulse arc welding method for performing welding while superimposing a pulsed current on a welding current, comprises: performing pulse arc welding of a plurality of times, with at least a peak current value and peak time of the pulsed current used as parameters, so as to acquire a droplet transfer form per welding and acquire dimension measured values of a penetration part Bp; creating an index Pf for quantifying a shape evaluation of the penetration part Bp by calculating feature amounts from many dimension measured values of the penetration part Bp obtained per pulse arc welding; and adjusting a pulse waveform of the pulsed current on the basis of the droplet transfer form linked to the index Pf.</p> |
