PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum double vessel which is capable of easily heating the content in a state where the content is included in the vessel, is easily manufactured, and has excellent strength; a manufacturing method for the vacuum double vessel; and an efficient method for preserving liquid food and drink using the vacuum double vessel.SOLUTION: A vacuum double vessel 1 comprises an inner vessel 2 and outer vessel 3 which are made from the same kind of nonmagnetic stainless steel to be easily welded, where a vacuum state is provided between the inner vessel 2 and outer vessel 3. An electromagnetic induction heating layer 4 is provided along an outer wall surface of the inner vessel 2 by: previously coating the outer wall surface of the inner vessel 2 with silver paste 40 whose firing temperature is lower than the fusion temperature of solder material 33 for sealing a hole 31 of a double vessel main body 11; and simultaneously firing the silver paste 40 and sealing the hole 31 with the solder material 33 while sucking air from the inside of the double vessel main body 11 through the hole 31 to make a vacuum state.
