PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support member for a safety belt capable of easily drawing out a fall prevention rope from fall prevention equipment installed in a high place.SOLUTION: A support member 1 for a safety belt includes: two support bodies 10 and 20; a supporting rope 30 installed to the two support bodies 10 and 20; and fall prevention equipment 40 slidably attached to the supporting robe 30. It further includes a pulley 51 attached to one upper portion of each of the two support bodies 10 and 20, and a lifting rope 53 wound around the pulley 51. One end of the fall prevention rope 43 drawn out from the fall prevention equipment 40 is attachable/detachable with respect to the lifting rope 53.
