<p>Disclosed are an intravascular photoacoustic and ultrasonic dual-mode imaging system and an imaging method, wherein the intravascular photoacoustic and ultrasonic dual-mode imaging system comprises a laser (10), an endoscopic probe (50), an ultrasound transmitting and receiving device (60), a data acquisition system (70) and an image reconstruction and display system (80), wherein the laser (10) is used to output a laser beam and send a trigger signal, the ultrasound transmitting and receiving device (60) is used to control the transmission of an ultrasonic wave, according to the trigger signal, while receiving a photoacoustic signal and an ultrasonic signal, the endoscopic probe (50) is used to laterally reflect the laser beam, after it has been focused or collimated, to a lumen sample to generate the photoacoustic signal by excitation while laterally transmitting an ultrasonic wave and receiving the ultrasonic signal reflected by the lumen sample, the data acquisition system (70) is used to collect a lumen sample photoacoustic signal and ultrasonic signal, and the image reconstruction and display system (80) is used to reconstruct the photoacoustic image and ultrasonic image of the lumen sample. The above-mentioned intravascular photoacoustic and ultrasonic dual-mode imaging system and imaging method improve the utilization of light and the penetration depth of a target tissue, increase the depth and the signal to noise ratio of photoacoustic imaging, and have a better imaging quality.</p> |
