<p>A semiconductor light source drive device (1A) is provided with: a drive signal generation unit (4) that generates a drive signal in which the duty ratio is adjusted; a switching converter (3) that supplies electrical current corresponding to the duty ratio of the drive signal to a semiconductor light source (10); and an output control unit (5) that reduces the duty ratio of the drive signal that drives the switching elements (SW1, SW2) of the switching converter (3) to a second duty ratio when turning off a light and increases the duty ratio of the drive signal when re-lighting a light to a first duty ratio that is the duty ratio at the time of lighting.</p> |
