<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front derailer that allows a sufficient space to be secured between a base member and a rear wheel even if using the rear wheel having a large diameter.SOLUTION: A front derailer 12 can be mounted on a bicycle 10 having a frame 14 in which a fixing hole is provided. The front derailer 12 comprises: a base member 40; a chain guide 42; and a link mechanism 44. The base member 40 has an attachment 52a corresponding to the fixing hole and can be attached to the frame 14 by a fastening member 16 that can be fixed to the fixing hole through the attachment hole 52a. The chain guide 42 guides a chain 36. The link mechanism 44 connects movably the chain guide 42 to the base member 40. In a use state where the base member 40 is attached to the frame 14, at least a part of the attachment hole 52a is provided at the more front side and more upper side than the chain guide 42.</p> |
