<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fuel combustion device which can quickly cut off the liquid fuel injected from a nozzle when combustion operation is stopped and when stop due to a power failure, and prevents after-dripping of the fuel.SOLUTION: In a liquid fuel combustion device, the discharge side of a fuel pump for pressurizingly feeding liquid fuel of a fuel tank is connected to a nozzle via an oil feed pipe, and the liquid fuel pressurizingly fed by the fuel pump is injected from the nozzle and is combusted. The liquid fuel combustion device is provided with a branch pipe which is branched from a branch part of the oil feed pipe between the fuel pump and the nozzle and extends downward, and the lower end of the branch pipe is opened at a position above the liquid level of the liquid fuel stored in the fuel tank. A solenoid valve is disposed on the branch pipe, which is situated at the same height with or lower than the branch part of the oil feed pipe and at the same height with or lower than the arrangement position of the nozzle and is closed when energized, and energization to the solenoid valve is cut off at the same time as the drive stop of the fuel pump.</p> |
