The present invention pertains to a cellulose acylate film containing a compound having at least one linking group selected from the group consisting of a bivalent linking group represented by -NH-(C=O)-O- and a bivalent linking group represented by -NH-(C=O)-NR-, where R represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent group, and at least one polar group, which is a residue of a compound having a ClogP value of 0.85 or less (where an aromatic heterocycle-containing group, which is a residue of a compound having a ClogP value of 0.85 or less, is excluded from the polar group), and in which the chemical equivalent (U) determined as a value obtained by dividing the molecular weight by the number of linking groups in a single molecule is 515 or less.
