PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission of an outboard engine which improves power performance, fuel consumption performance and so forth while performing smoothly and adequately speed control.SOLUTION: A transmission of an outboard engine includes in a transmission chamber 37: a drive shaft; a counter shaft 38; a gear train which is bridged between a drive shaft input axis 22A and the counter shaft 38 and between a drive shaft output axis 22B and the counter shaft 38 respectively; and a dog clutch mechanism which selectively switches between a high speed stage and a low speed stage. A lower reservoir part 84 of lubricating oil is disposed at the lower part of the lower bearing of the counter shaft 38 in a bottom part of the transmission chamber 37. A lubricant pump 85 is provided in which lubricating oil is supplied from the lower reservoir part 84 to each part of the transmission 33. |
