PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device applicable in various types of light source module.SOLUTION: According to the embodiment, there is provided with a lighting device including a connection part, power supply part, a first detecting part, and a control part. The connection part is electrically connected with a light source module, thereby forming at least two passages: a first passage or a second passage different from the first passage. The power supply part is connected to the connection part and is able to supply the power source module with first DC power and second DC power different form the first DC power. The first detecting part detects the connection of the power source module to the connection part. The control part determines whether the power source module is connected to the first passage or second passage when the connection of the power source module is detected by the first detecting part. When it is determined that the power source module is connected to the first passage, the first DC power is supplied to the power supply part. When the determination is made that it is connected to the second passage, the second DC power is supplied to the power supply part. |
