PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device which can uniform thickness of a coating material on a substrate.SOLUTION: In a coating device 1, a base part 11 which does not follow the rotation of a roller is arranged in both a coating roller 3 and a back roller 5, and a temperature control part 12, which controls the temperature of an outer peripheral surface of the roller over an area where an electrode paste P is located, is erected on the base part 11. In the coating device 1, the temperature of the electrode paste P on the outer peripheral surface of the roller can be locally and efficiently controlled by the temperature control part 12. The viscosity of the electrode paste P is adequately controlled, whereby a high end part Pa of the electrode paste P can be eliminated to uniform the thickness of the electrode paste P on metal foil 6. |
