<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference value generation device and a reference value generation method, capable of appropriately generating a reference value.SOLUTION: A reference value generation device comprises: a direction posture angle calculation section for calculating posture information; a walking detection section for detecting walking; a first storage section for storing a plurality of pieces of posture information for a step of walking, for at least three consecutive steps; a correlation coefficient calculation section for calculating a correlation coefficient of posture information for one of the third and following steps among the posture information for at least three steps, to posture information for a step preceding the posture information for the step by two steps; a correlation coefficient determination section for determining whether or not the correlation coefficient is a threshold or more; a second storage section for storing the representative value included in posture information for a step whose correlation coefficient is determined to be the threshold or more, for a plurality of steps of walking; and a reference value generation section for, when the correlation coefficient of a step is the threshold or more, generating a reference value used for correction of the posture information for the step, using the representative values of the plurality of steps before the step.</p> |
