The present invention relates to a production method for water-soluble conjugated polymer nanoparticles, the method comprising establishment of contact between: a mixture of water and an amphipathic polymer; and a mixture of an aqueous solvent and a conjugated polymer. The present invention makes it possible to use a straightforward process in order to provide water-soluble conjugated polymer nanoparticles having a small and uniform particle size and good colloidal stability.
