An array substrate comprises a display area and a GOA area. In the GOA area, a gate metal electrode, a gate insulating layer, an active layer, a transition layer, and a source/drain metal electrode are sequentially formed from bottom to top, and a via running through the transition layer, the active layer and the gate insulating layer is provided. The source/drain metal electrode is electrically connected to the gate metal electrode through the via. At the edge of the via, an upwardly directed angle is formed at the edges of the transition layer and the active layer. Also disclosed are a method for manufacturing the array substrate and a display device using the array substrate.
