<p>The present invention provides a method for use of a tubular photovoltaic power generation assembly. The method is characterized in that a tubular photovoltaic power generation assembly formed by at least one tubular photovoltaic unit array arranged on the water surface is use for photovoltaic power generation, and the illumination and the wind speed on the water surface are reduced so as to reduce the evaporation capacity.
