An apparatus for constructing a three-dimensional neural network by using a micro-fluidic chip and methods for preparing and using same. The apparatus comprises a micro-fluidic chip, microspheres for adhering nerve cells, and a substrate. The micro-fluidic chip comprises one or more PDMS elastic layers and has through holes. The PDMS elastic layers have micro-fluidic pipelines for nerve cell processes to extend, and the through holes and the substrate form small rooms for accommodating the microspheres.
