PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which can detect the positional deviation of an oscillation original point of a vibrator body without increase in the number of components.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: a vibrator body including a plurality of ultrasonic vibration elements transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic wave; a drive source outputting power for the vibrator body to oscillate with a shaft as a center; a drive control part outputting a control signal of the drive source for controlling the oscillation of the vibrator body; a first passage detection part detecting the passage of a first prescribed point whose position changes with the oscillation of the vibrator body; and a positional deviation determination part which determines that the positional deviation occurs in the oscillation original point of the vibrator body in a case in which a command value indicated by a control signal at the time when the first passage detection part detects the passage of the first prescribed point is different by a prescribed amount or more from a reference command value when the vibrator body oscillates with the power from the drive source.
