PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which hardly deteriorates in optical output by suppressing discoloration of a reflection film in an optical component, and to provide a method of manufacturing an optical component used in the same.SOLUTION: An optical component 10 includes: a support member 11 having a through hole 11a; a reflection film 12 formed on an inner wall of the through hole 11a; a first protective film 13 formed on the reflection film 12; and a translucent member 14 having a light incident surface, a light exit surface, and an outer peripheral side surface and arranged in the through hole 11a. The translucent member 14 is fixed in the through hole 11a by a joint part where the outer peripheral side surface and the first protective film 13 are joined together. An end on the exit side of the joint part is covered with a second protective film 15 formed over the first protective film 13 and the translucent member 14. |
