<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of transmitting mail to personnel of departments and sections in a former generation to which a recipient belonged to by a simple operation.SOLUTION: A mail transmission system includes: a storage unit for storing a department and section history table associating a user and history of the division of the user and a mail table associating the user and a mail address for the user; a receiving unit for receiving mail from the mail transmitter; a transmission unit for transmitting mail to the user specified as the destination for the received mail; a received mail processing unit for determining the user corresponding to the destination based on the destination specified by the received mail by the receiving unit and the mail address stored to the main table, a department and section history processing unit for creating a file associating the user with the user's present or past division based on the determined user and the division history stored to the department and section history table; and a transmission mail processing unit for determining the division of the user determined in the file according to the instruction of a mail transmitter and outputting the mail with the user belonging to the determined division to the transmission unit.</p> |
