PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which there is no method for generating data suitable for a display device whose display size is diversified from image data obtained by scanning an N-up document.SOLUTION: The size of an object image included in a document image is acquired. Then, description data for displaying the object image included in the document image is generated, and layout data corresponding to the size of a display device is generated on the basis of the acquired size of the object image.
