The method includes detecting a set of applications of a plurality of applications installed in the user device that can operate in an offline mode; receiving a search query entered by a user of the user device; determining a current connectivity mode of the user device, wherein the current connectivity mode is any one of an offline mode and an online mode; searching for at least one matching application from the set of applications, when the current connectivity mode of the user device is the offline mode; and displaying the at least one selected application on a display of the user device. |
