<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent overcharge of a power storage device even though abnormality is caused in a power storage control device itself while charging from an external power source. <P>SOLUTION: A charge control CPU 30 controls charging of a power storage device 12 which is conducted by a charger 24. A battery CPU 26 controls the state of the charge (SOC) of the power storage device 12. A charge state monitor CPU 32 monitors the state of the charge of the power storage device 12 separately from the battery CPU 26. In the case where the charge control is conducted by the charge control CPU 30 even though the charge state monitor CPU 32 detects that the power storage device 12 is fully charged, the charge state monitor CPU 32 performs control to stop the charge of the power storage device 12 conducted by the charger 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
