The present invention relates to a chlorine dioxide gas generator, and a chlorine dioxide gas generating system, and more specifically, to a chlorine dioxide gas generator which comprises a cation region (10) producing chlorine dioxide gas by electrolysis of chlorite, which is electrolyte supplied from outside, and including a positive electrode plate supplied with DC electricity from an external power supply and formed in a polygonal pillar shape or a cylindrical shape; an anion region (20) producing electrolysis products by electrolysis of chlorite, which is electrolyte supplied from outside, and including a negative electrode plate supplied with DC electricity from an external power supply and formed in a polygonal pillar shape or a cylindrical shape; and a separation membrane (30) arranged between the cation region (10) and the anion region (20) and preventing the reaction residue formed in the anion region (20) from moving to the cation region (10). The chlorine dioxide gas generator is characterized in that chlorine dioxide gas produced in the cation region (10) is discharged to the outside by supplying air between the cation region (10) and the separation membrane (30). |
