<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-saving display device for visually handicapped persons which displays an image without using a tactile pin driven by an actuator while reducing weight and thickness of the display device. <P>SOLUTION: The image display 1 includes temperature notification devices 11 arranged across insulating sections 12 in a two-dimensional shape, and a data conversion section 13 for generating and outputting a temperature command signal Tref to each temperature notification device 11, based on image data input from a signal output device 2.
