<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic further improving finishes by the conventional hair cosmetics and suitable for being used as a rinse, hair-conditioner or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic containing the following components (1) to (3) is provided. (1) 0.01 to 10 mass% hydroxyetheramine compound expressed by formula (I) [wherein: R<SP>1</SP>is 6-24C linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl; R<SP>2</SP>is 1-6C linear or branched hydroxyalkylene or hydroxyalkylenyl; and R<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>are each the same or different H or 1-6C linear alkyl] based on the cosmetic.
