<p>An information processing apparatus capable of reducing power consumption of a printing apparatus efficiently according to a processing situation. An accumulation unit accumulates print jobs that should be transmitted to the printing apparatus. An acquisition unit acquires an operation history and a power consumption history of the printing apparatus. A setting unit sets a threshold value for determining a timing of transmitting the print jobs accumulated in the accumulation unit in series to the printing apparatus based on the operation history and the power consumption history acquired. A determination unit determines the timing of transmitting the print jobs based on the threshold value. A transmission unit transmits the print jobs accumulated in the accumulation unit in series to the printing apparatus at the timing determined.</p> |
