PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that has a brake mechanism capable of giving stable braking force to a photoconductor drum.SOLUTION: A compound machine 1 comprises: a device body 78; a photoconductor drum 12 that has a cylindrical braked unit 61 and rotates with respect to the device body 78; and a brake mechanism 60 that gives braking force to the photoconductor drum 12. The brake mechanism 60 comprises: multiple friction units 63; an energization unit 66; and a regulation unit 68. The friction units 63 respectively give friction force by contact with an inner peripheral surface of the braked unit 61. The energization unit 66 is supported between two or more friction units 63 and gives energization force to the friction units 63 in a direction where the friction units 63 separate from each other. The regulation unit 68 is provided so as not to move relatively to the device body 78 and regulates the friction units so as not to move in a circumferential direction of the photoconductor drum 12. |
