PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for tire vulcanization with which a pneumatic tire having a more excellent appearance can be manufactured by reducing occurrence of biting of a raw cover (unvulcanized tire) during vulcanization molding.SOLUTION: A mold for tire vulcanization includes tread segments divided into plurality of pieces and a pair of upper and lower side plates, and performs vulcanization molding of a tire in a mold closed state where the tread segments and the side plates are made to match each other. The mold for tire vulcanization is configured so that an annular groove part is formed at a cavity surface of a split position where the tread segments and the side plates are made to match each other in the mold closed state. In the mold for tire vulcanization, the cross-sectional shape of the grove part is nearly rectangular. In the mold for tire vulcanization, the groove part is provided at the cavity surface of the side plates. In the mold for tire vulcanization, the depth of the groove part from the cavity surface is 2.0 to 5.0 mm and the width of the groove part is 8.0 mm or less. |
