PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-supply unit capable of reliably comprehending the state of plural battery modules constituting a secondary battery group and performing stable and appropriate management.SOLUTION: When monitoring a secondary battery group 10 in which plural battery modules are connected to each other in multi-series and multi-parallel, a control period as an execution cycle of a control processing, which is activated periodically to monitor the state of the modules, is varied according to the number of the plural battery modules 11 constituting the secondary battery group 10. Battery status information of all the battery modules 11 necessary for monitoring is reliably read out while fully using calculation resources with a control period. Thus, status determination of the respective battery modules and a control processing including connection to/disconnection from a power line is completed within one control period. |
