PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head in which possibility of variation of a heat spot in the main scanning direction is reduced.SOLUTION: A thermal head comprises a substrate 7, a heating part 9 provided on the substrate 7 and a pair of electrodes 17, 19 which are provided on the substrate 7 and are electrically connected with the heating part 9. The pair of electrodes 17, 19 include connection parts 2, 4 which are connected to the heating part 9, width-narrowed parts 17d, 19d which are electrically connected to the connection parts 2, 4 and wiring parts 17e, 19e which are electrically connected to the width-narrowed parts 17d, 19d. Covering from one connection part 2 to the other connection part 4, slits 6 which divide the heating part 9 are provided on the same straight line as the width-narrowed parts 17d, 19d against the sub-scanning direction and the slits 6 provided at the connection parts 2, 4 include first elongation parts 8 extending in the main scanning direction. |
