PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for decontaminating soil, capable of simply and efficiently decontaminating soil including radioactive cesium.SOLUTION: In the method and device for decontaminating soil which decontaminate soil including radioactive cesium, the method for decontaminating soil comprises: the first elution step of contacting the soil with a first eluate including potassium hydrate to elute cesium in the soil into the first eluate; and the second elution step of contacting the soil with a second eluate including oxalic acid to elute cesium in the soil into the second eluate, and the device for decontaminating soil comprises: a processing tank storing the soil and the first eluate or the second eluate; potassium hydrate supply means; and oxalic acid supply means. |
