<p>The present invention relates to an image processing method and an image processing apparatus, capable of effectively forming a feature area in an input image. The image processing method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: maintaining a database having feature information of a target image; receiving the input image; extracting a partial image from the input image; selecting a plurality of feature areas in the partial image; and determining if the selected feature areas are candidates that are comparable with the target image, based on a uniform distribution degree of the feature areas.</p> |
