The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a curved display panel using a flat display panel. The surface or part of facing substrates (110, 120) is etched according to set thickness and shape. An optical plate (200) is attached to at least one surface of the substrates (110, 120). After that, it is designed according to a desired curved shape. A flat display panel (100) to which the optical plate (200) is attached is bent and bonded to the inside of a backlight unit (300) including a light guide plate or a light scattering plate. After that, a bezel frame (400) designed according to the curved shape is fitted into the outside of the backlight unit (300). Thereby, a manufacturing process is simplified and the desired curved shape of a display panel can be maintained. |
