Disclosed is a balance armature type speaker unit capable of outputting a high and low note of high quality emitted from a sound device. The speaker unit includes a coil to which AC current is applied, an armature as a vibrator which are partly arranged in the coil, a magnet separated from the armature, and a vibration plate which receives vibration through a drive rod bonded to the armature and generates sound. The magnet is arranged in front of the free end part of the armature, and a plate of iron is arranged in the upper and the lower part of the magnet. At this time, the free end part of the armature is arranged in a space between the back end side of the magnet and the plate arranged to be separated from the upper and the lower side of the magnet. According to the present invention, the speaker (i) reproduces low, middle, and high note of excellent quality, (ii) has superior productivity by limiting the number of magnets used with at least one, (iii) prevents the distortion of sound without the effect of the plate or the magnet on a driver road connected to the vibration plate. Also, according to the present invention, the speaker (iv) experiences no interference caused by lateral magnetic field. |
