A system for measuring the braking force of a vehicle comprising a vehicle lift provided with a platform having a support plane and a measuring unit associated with the platform configured to measure the vertical forces and/or the horizontal forces acting on the support plane when the vehicle lift operates in a brake test bench mode. The measuring unit includes a first measuring device arranged on a first side of the platform and a second measuring device arranged on a second side of the platform. The system also includes a slide unit configured to cause a mutual sliding of the first and of the second measuring device along a sliding direction when the vehicle lift moves from the lowered configuration to the raised configuration. |
