The invention relates to queuing systems and methods. Especially, the invention is related to a method for optimizing queuing times, comprising at least the steps of receiving a queue joining message from a first mobile device, assigning a queue position for the first mobile device, receiving location information from at least one mobile device, storing at least a part of location information received from a plurality of mobile devices in a database, and adjusting the queue position of the first mobile device based on location information received from at least one mobile device and at least in part on the basis of information in said database. |
