Disclosed is an apparatus for turning a slab passing through a work roll according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprising: a first taper roll which is disposed on the rear side of the work roll, on which a taper is formed in a first direction, and which rotates in a first rotational direction; a second taper roll which is disposed adjacent to the first taper roll, on which the taper is formed in a second direction, and which rotates in a second rotational direction; a first separation turning roll and a second separation turning roll which are disposed between the first taper roll and the second taper roll, connected through the connector, and configured to rotate in a different direction; and an elevating cylinder connected to the connector, wherein the first separation turning roll and the second separation turning roll are elevated by the elevating cylinder to turn the slab. |
