<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to give tension to each of a plurality of conducting wires independently in a coil winding device in which a winding nozzle 29 is relatively rotated so as to go around a tooth 11 subjected to be winding and the nozzle itself is made to rotate about its shaft center to perform parallel winding. <P>SOLUTION: A tension device 33 that rotates integrally with a nozzle is provided for each of a plurality of conducting wires. The tension device 33 includes an electromagnetic brake 115. In order to supply the electromagnetic brake with electric power, the support member is provided with a plurality of slip rings 131 connected with the power source input terminal of the electromagnetic brake corresponding to each electromagnetic brake. At the outer periphery of each slip ring, a brush connected to the power source is disposed so as to have slide contact.
