<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device that is hardly broken even when the resistance value of an antenna layer is lowered and suppressed from increasing in weight, and a radio communication device.SOLUTION: An antenna 20 comprises a flat plate-like dielectric substrate 21, an antenna layer 22 formed on one main surface of the dielectric substrate 21, and a solder coating layer 23 covering a surface of the antenna layer 22 so that a part of the surface is exposed. The part of the surface of the antenna layer 22 is exposed by forming a through hole in the solder coating layer 23 or by forming a cut in a peripheral edge part of the solder coating layer 23. The through hole or cut disperses stress during deformation and prevents a crack from spreading even if the crack is made so as to prevent a solder piece from peeling. Further, the solder coating layer 23 decreases in amount of solder as much as the through hole or cut is formed, and thereby becomes lightweight.</p> |
