PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt-type gravity casting device and a tilt-type gravity casting method which is excellent in charging property of molten metal and can satisfactorily prevent a casting defect from occurring on a casting.SOLUTION: A tilt-type gravity casting device 1 includes a ladle 7 on a mold 2, stores molten metal M in the ladle 7 and pours the molten metal M into a cavity 6 of the mold 2 via a sprue 5 when the mold 2 is inclined. The tilt-type gravity casting device 1 includes an interception member 18 which enters into the sprue 5 from a direction vertical to the direction where the sprue 5 is extended and a pressurizing pin 23 which pressurizes the molten metal M in the cavity 6 after the sprue 5 is closed by the interception member 18. |
