<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical low-pass filter, an imaging device including the same and an imaging apparatus capable of changing cut-off frequency acquiring no additional optical components.SOLUTION: The optical low-pass filter includes: a pair of birefringent plates which has a birefringence property, the image separation directions of which are oriented to directions opposite to each other or a direction identical to each other; a liquid crystal layer disposed between the pair of birefringent plates to control the polarization; and an electrode for applying an electric field to the liquid crystal layer. When an intermediate voltage or an intermediate frequency is applied to the electrode, the pair of birefringent plates and the liquid crystal layer generate three or four peaks in point image strength distribution of the light transmitted through the optical low-pass filter.</p> |
