PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and stabilize a torque adjusting performance.SOLUTION: A seal structure 160 between a hollow body 110 and a rotation shaft 131 has: a particle seal 162 held by the hollow body 110 at a posture surrounding an outer periphery of the rotation shaft 131, and restraining fluidization of magnetic particles 140p directed to an outer side from an inner side by forming a seal gap 162g between it and the rotation shaft 131; a liquid seal 163 held on an outer side than the particle seal 162 by the hollow body 110, and sealing a portion between it and the shaft 131 by liquid-tightly slide-contacting the outer periphery 133 of the rotation 131; liquid intermediate fluid 164 filling an intermediate chamber 166 between the particle seal 162 and the liquid seal 163; and a coating film 165 provided at least on a metallic seal outer periphery 133s of the outer periphery 133 of the rotation shaft 131 holding the seal gap 162g between it and the particle seal 162, and formed into higher hardness than that of the magnetic particles 140p. |
