The present invention relates to a system and a method for authenticating payment such as a transfer and payment using a security card and, more specifically, to a mobile communication terminal having an authentication function using a security card, and a system and a method for authenticating payment using the mobile communication terminal, wherein the authentication function using a security card: allows a user to register information on a security card (hereinafter referred as to ″security card information″) by recognizing the security card information through a camera of a mobile communication terminal; allows the user to easily retrieve and input a security number about a security code requested for payment using a mobile communication terminal based on the registered security card information; and performs payment by directly performing authentication without exposing the security number through a relevant bank system having issued the security card. The mobile communication terminal comprises: a camera unit which includes at least one camera, and outputs a security camera image by photographing a security card including bank identification information, security card identification information, multiple security codes, and a security number mapped onto each security code by the camera; a security storage unit for storing the security card information; an interface unit which includes an attachment and detachment means to insert and remove the security storage unit, and which stores information in the security storage unit, or reads and outputs information; a wireless communication unit for performing wireless data communications by accessing a wireless internet network; and a control unit including a security card registration processing unit and a security card input processing unit. |
