PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust an image forming condition in a short time.SOLUTION: When a standard image forming condition is set, control means adjusts both of a toner conveyance amount and a toner electrification amount, so as to obtain predetermined development characteristics. When normal image formation is performed, the control means obtains the image density of a patch image formed at a high contrast potential and the image density of a patch image formed at a low contrast potential, and adjusts the toner conveyance amount when the image density of the patch image formed at the high contrast potential is fluctuated from the development characteristics of the standard image forming condition, and the toner electrification amount when the image density of the patch image formed at the low contrast potential is fluctuated from the development characteristics of the standard image forming condition. |
