INCREASING ZINC SULFIDE HARDNESS

摘要

The hardness of zinc sulfide is increased by adding selected elements in a specific area of crystal lattice of zinc sulfide. The increased hardness of general zinc sulfide does not substantially damage optical properties of zinc sulfide. The zinc sulfide can be used in protective coating of a window and dome.
