PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat transfer fluids intended for use in heat transfer systems comprising brazed metals or metal alloys such as brazed aluminum.SOLUTION: A heat transfer system 116 comprises a brazed aluminum component, and a heat transfer fluid in fluid communication with the brazed aluminum component. The heat transfer fluid comprises: a liquid coolant; an oxy-anion of molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, phosphorus, antimony, or a combination thereof; and a corrosion inhibitor.
